Medication-Assisted Treatment
Medication combined with counseling, case management and behavioral therapies to treat substance use disorders, particularly opioid and alcohol dependence. Options include Suboxone, Zubsolv, Sublocade and Brixadi.

Medication and Support, Together
Resolve welcomes and offers Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) as part of our treatment options. MAT combines FDA-approved medication with counseling, case management and behavioral therapies to treat substance use disorders, particularly opioid and alcohol dependence.
Medication helps steady your body by easing withdrawal and cravings. Counseling helps with everything else: the reasons behind substance use, the habits around it, and the life you want to build. Together, they give recovery a stronger footing than either one alone.
Taking medication as prescribed is not trading one addiction for another. It’s a medical treatment, the same way people take medication for diabetes or high blood pressure.
How MAT Works
The substance use disorders MAT is designed for.
Plus case management and behavioral therapy.
MAT can be part of our outpatient program.
We’ll confirm your coverage when we talk.
What MAT Can Do
- Ease withdrawal symptoms
- Reduce cravings
- Lower the risk of relapse and overdose
- Give you room to focus on counseling, work and family
Every plan is personal. A provider will talk through whether medication is right for you and which options fit.
